- Gentle Machine Wash if Necessary: If machine washing, use a gentle cycle with cold water. Turn the jacket inside out to protect the fabric and fastenings.
- Avoid Bleach and Fabric Softeners: These can degrade the protective fabric and comfort mesh lining.
- Air Dry Only: Hang the jacket in a well-ventilated area to air dry. Avoid using a tumble dryer as heat can damage the protective materials.
- Do Not Iron: The heat from an iron can damage both the PEKEV® fabric and the protective linings.
- Do Not Dry Clean: The chemicals used in dry cleaning can harm the jacket’s protective features.
- Check for Wear and Tear: Regularly inspect the jacket, particularly the reinforced PEKEV® zones and seams, to ensure ongoing protection.
